Dùng dao cắt lấy phần hạt bắp, bỏ phần lõi. Sau đó cho bắp ngọt và 600ml nước vào nồi đun sôi. Trộn đều sữa tươi, nước cốt dừa và bột bắp. Rồi dùng rây rây lại hỗn hợp sữa dừa cho mịn.
Trộn đều bột thạch rau câu Con Cá dẻo với đường. Khi nồi nước luộc bắp sôi chừng 5 phút, bạn đổ hỗn hợp bột thạch và đường vào khuấy đều. Khi đường tan hết, bạn đổ từ từ hỗn hợp sữa dừa vào nồi khuấy đều tay, đun đến khi hỗn hợp sôi trở lại thì tắt bếp. Phết một lớp dầu ăn mỏng vào khuôn cho khỏi dính, dùng muỗng múc thạch vào khuôn, chờ thạch nguội cho vào tủ lạnh cho mát.
