Take the coating off of the mirror & it is great! My young girl just loves this addition to her locker.

Great mirror looks good in a locker

The base of the mirror unit is 4.5 inches square, as advertised, but the mirror itself is on a beveled base so the actual mirror is about 3.5 inches square. The description says AAA batteries but fails to say how many. It is three AAA batteries. It ships with a protective screen, which is a nice touch. Upon removal of the protective screen the mirror is perfect. Not Zeiss-perfect but certainly good enough for a nine year old's locker. My daughter loves it. Bought several other locker items from the same company and was pleased that the colors matched. Several commenters have complained about the imperfection of the mirror. I suspect that they have forgotten to remove the protective screen from the mirror. Other commenters have noted that the light around the edges is somewhat diffuse (it does not shine a spotlight on the face). I asked my daughter and she told me that the light does illuminate her face when she uses the mirror in her locker.

Great Locker Mirror! My 5th Grader Loves It!

My 5th grader loves this mirror! It lights up bright and looks great. I like the fact that it uses AAA batteries instead of button cell ones. It will be much easier to change them when they run out. The magnet is strong and holds it steady. She is the envy of her classmates!

Perfect fit in a locker

Cute little mirror. Perfect fit in a locker. Light isn't super bright but it does the trick. My daughter went to middle school this year and was super excited about decorating her locker. This was a hit!

Fun mirror!

The light function is fun. My seven year old really likes it. The magnet sticks well in her locker. It's not a very big mirror, but for my seven year old it's enough. The mirror does not come with batteries, so make sure to have those on hand when you go to decorate your child's locker. I didn't and got the stink eye because it wasn't working!

The light isn't too bright and the mirror is fantastic quality. Magnet is also very strong in comparison to others we have tried.
